Changing Strata Managers is easier than you think. We make it simple by guiding you through each step of the process.

Conduct your due diligence by gathering 2-3 Strata Management quotes.

Once you’ve made your decision, you’ll need to provide a termination/non-renewal letter to your existing Strata Manager. Click here to download our termination letter template. Simply customise this letter by adding your Strata Scheme details and email the letter to your existing Strata Manager.

Our team will send out a management agreement which will be sent to you via AdobeSign for Council of Owner signatures.

From there, our team at Strata Town will collect your strata company's books, records, keys, remotes, and plans from your previous manager.

We’ll also arrange for owners and Property Managers to be allocated login details to Town Square. Vendors will also be advised of the change

Your new Strata Manager will arrange for a meet and greet either face-to-face or via Microsoft Teams to work through the Council's action items from the AGM and goals for the next 12 months.

Convene a Council of Owners meeting to review the terms of the existing contract and confirm the decision to switch to Strata Town

Confirm with our team the intent of your Strata Scheme to switch to Strata Town.

Once the commencement date has been confirmed we’ll contact the outgoing Strata Management company and arrange for a handover date to be set.

The financial records will be integrated into our accounting system and copies of your strata plan, by-laws, minutes, and insurance certificates will be published on Town Square, our proprietary Strata Management platform.

During this time, your appointed Strata Manager will work with the Council of Owners to resolve any outstanding maintenance or management issues.
